Tyre Education for Schools (TEFORS) took a stand at this years Brityrex show in Manchester to announce the expansion of the programme into other parts of the UK following the success of the programme in the North East of England. The Brityrex show is the only show of its kind in the UK and is attended by all of the key manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers and suppliers in the UK tyre industry.
Speaking after the show David Bavaird stated ‘the show has been a great success with a real interest from all visitors to our stand and enthusiasm for the important educational value of the TEFORS programme and we look forward to working with all sections of the industry in the coming months as the programme continues teaching children about tyre care, tyre safety and tyre recycling in an educational context linked to the National curriculum’.

The United Reform Church in Northumberland Square, North Shields, is the venue, with the event commencing at 1.45pm.
